Culture Camps
The most important and rewarding aspect of teaching is the ability to take kids out on the land to learn with Elders. I have had the privilege to be able to organize and provide these rich, life changing experiences for many years.
Each time we go out on the land, the response from students is always the same:
"Why can't we do this all the time?"
My hope is that one day we will be able to create land-based learning that is available to all schools in the province.
