Writer & producer - This resource provides an opportunity for Indigenous voice and vision to be primary source of information by including the personal narratives of community Knowledge Holders. The content will support educators in the classroom by providing them with accurate and authentic information on pre-contact histories, stories, and perspectives through video modules in order to avoid appropriation or misrepresentation of content.
This resource will focus on the following big ideas/concepts that will be explored through an interactive inquiry-based process:
1) Clan System – identity, families, lineage, structures roles
2) Government – roles, jurisdiction, land, communities
3) Lifestyle – stories, food, seasons, customary practices
